Recently, the Hong Kong line barge 'Zhendong 588' unloaded a batch of Class 3 refrigerated dangerous goods containers in Xinsha Port, the goods are raw materials for handicraft manufacturing, mainly serving high-tech enterprises, which is the first import of Xinsha Port after the implementation of 'Class B B control' of the new Guan epidemic. This is the first import of refrigerated dangerous goods in Xinsha Port after the implementation of the 'Class B B control', marking the official restart of the foreign trade business of refrigerated and cold dangerous containers in Xinsha Port.
During the epidemic, the foreign trade container cargo of refrigerated and cold dangerous cargoes in Xinsha Port of Guangzhou was suspended due to many factors. After the implementation of the 'Class B' management of the epidemic, the Guangzhou Port Authority insisted on the goal of promoting the high-quality development of port and shipping, providing forward services, strengthening communication, understanding the needs of enterprises and promoting the rapid resumption of cold and dangerous business in Xinsha Port. According to statistics, in February 2023, the container throughput of Huangpu port area reached 319,000 TEU, an increase of 19.7% year-on-year.
