China's ship exports exceed 200 billion yuan in the first seven months
On August 18, the General Administration of Customs released the latest monthly report on China's imports and exports for July. Statistics show that in July this year, China exported 514 ships, a slight increase of 0.2% year-on-year, with a value of 26.71296 billion yuan, a slight decrease of 0.5% year-on-year. From January to July this year, China's cumulative ship exports reached 4,103 units, up 22.7% year-on-year, with a total value of 202.65402 billion yuan, up 16.8% year-on-year.
Looking at the specific types of ships exported, in July this year, China exported 21 liquid cargo ships, with a total value of 7.07492 billion yuan, representing year-on-year increases of 16.7% and 178.5%, respectively. From January to July this year, China exported a total of 157 liquid cargo ships, with a total value of 36.8374 billion yuan, representing year-on-year increases of 34.2% in the number of ships and 103.9% in value.
In July this year, China exported 10 container ships worth 4.43897 billion yuan, with a year-on-year decrease of 56.5% in the number of ships and a year-on-year decrease of 51.8% in value. From January to July this year, China exported 100 container ships worth 51.27822 billion yuan, with year-on-year decreases of 47.1% and 32.1% respectively.
In July this year, China's bulk carrier exports reached 42 vessels and 5.32991 billion yuan, with the number of vessels decreasing by 27.6% year-on-year and the value decreasing by 11.7% year-on-year. From January to July this year, China's bulk carrier exports reached 300 vessels and 41.39336 billion yuan, with the number of vessels decreasing by 4.5% year-on-year and the value decreasing by 1.1% year-on-year.
